Gifted & Talented (GT)

Grades K-12

All Eanes ISD 1st graders take the CogAT in December as a universal screener; parents who want the rest of the GT assessment complete the referral/consent form in January. For kindergarten through 7th grade, parents submit the online Referral Form by its due date (notice goes out the first week of Quarter 3). Students who meet Phase I criteria move to Phase II, which includes a creativity test. Placement letters are mailed by the last Friday of April, and qualifying students start the next school year.
