GT LEAD and ASPIRE (Gifted and Talented)

Grades K-12

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD identifies GT students on general intellectual ability. Current students in kindergarten-4th grade can be referred for testing December 1-15; 5th graders and secondary students October 14 - November 3. Elementary GT LEAD students typically score at the 95th percentile or above on several batteries of a nationally normed aptitude test and at the 95th percentile or above on at least one achievement section. ASPIRE (Glenhope Elementary, Cross Timbers Middle, Grapevine High) groups students with ASPIRE peers in core classes. You must live in GCISD or the cities of Grapevine or Colleyville to be tested.
