Issaquah School District: gifted testing
Highly Capable Program
Grades K-12Issaquah screens every kindergartner and 2nd grader. Kindergartners take i-Ready Reading and Math in January 2027; high scorers are invited to the full CogAT on February 22-26, 2027. Second graders take the Torrance creativity test (Nov 30 - Dec 11, 2026), i-Ready (January 4-29, 2027) and the full CogAT (March 1-12, 2027). Results come by email in mid-May; services start the next school year.
