Grades K-8

Mesa universally screens 2nd and 4th graders with the CogAT Screening Form, given in two sessions; students likely to do well then take the CogAT post-screener. Identified K-2 students get enrichment in the classroom; grades 3-6 are served in a pull-out resource classroom; grades 7-8 take concurrent honors classes.
