Wake County Public School System: gifted testing
Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)
Grades K-12All second graders take the CogAT. Students at the 85th percentile or higher on the composite or any subtest are invited to take the Iowa Assessments, and the School Based Committee for Gifted Education reviews strong results. In grades 2-8 identification starts with a nomination and portfolio.
